In 1998 graduated from Dnipropetrovs’k National University and received a specialist diploma.
Employed with Translation department of Dnipro University of Technology since 2004. Lectures disciplines in the field of scientific and technical translation and German language: "Practical Course in the Second Foreign Language(German)", "Practice of Translation from the Second Foreign Language (German)", "Practice of Oral and Written Speech".
During 2005-2009 was a juror of Ukrainian national Olympiad in German for the students of non-linguistic HEIs.
Senior Instructor Korotkova is a participant of international and national conferences concerning methods of teaching a foreign language, theory and practice of scientific and technical translation, general linguistics etc. Has a number of publications in this field.
